In defense of Simon Cowell

Everyone hates Simon Cowell.  He gets booed and heckled a lot.  But if I am to be honest, he isn't half bad.  In actual fact, hearing his POV makes me think how  eerily spot-on his comments are.  He comments on a certain contender's performance tonight, and tomorrow, it is that same individual the shines or shames as per vote results.  Cowell knows talent when he sees it.  That much is crystal clear!

It is uncanny, how the other 3 other judges can say and agree on same thing, and Simon would come from a completely different standpoint but the night after, the results are almost said in a soothsayer certainty that it is both fascinating and unnerving.  He seems to be a viable predictor of good or bad things to come.

He is very typical of the English specimen I had come across during my stint in the UK.  What he is is blatantly honest.  He says things as it is.  My friend JC, who is a hater, says that the masses need a bit of sugarcoating.

But i'd take the painfully honest truth over sugar coated BS.  Any day.
So you know, I <3 Simon. And despite  all the seeming brazenness...he is actually the king of Idol cool.  I'm not looking forward to the next season because it will not be the same without him!!

  1. Simon Cowell is a necessity. The actual winners can be mediocre enough, so he knows not to subject the American public w/ the possibility of promoting a career by praising someone who's even less that.
