A sunny day in 巨鹿路 （The French Concession)

It was such a beautiful sunny autumn day (yep verbose but all adjectives were true for today!) and I couldn't resist taking a walk along the French Concession after brunch.
This is a day I will remember for a long time.

My 同事 invited me to go to Bar Rouge tonight but I stayed in to watch Marry Me, a rom-com starring Lucy Liu.

I like my team. I probably work with the most easy-going bunch at work. Everyone is really serious about work but you know they can have fun too. Nothing against them really. Just that when our manager Andrew brought us to after-work drinks on Friday，I was so tempted to have a cigarette and have my usual double vodka on the rocks. Easy to go back to old habits. I am the type of person who never minded drinking and smoking alone so I just don't want to tread that path again.

I haven't smoked in 152 days. That's 5 months+ and it still is a temptation when alcohol comes into question. I love vodka, what can I say? And GG on the rocks is the way to go. So I had my celebratory shot and walked home after drinks.

Staying in has never felt more comforting. I miss Jake and Sam sooo much.
I wonder if they will know how much I ache for their closeness. God please watch over them for me till it is my time to stay beside them forever and ever.
