I see nothing wrong with showing your loved~ones, friends and family how much you cherish them. More than a case of trying a bit of tenderness, and showering them with whatever they need whenever they need it, presence is the definitive essence. Nothing beats communicating your affections to your loved-ones. Like you're on auto~pilot ala amore.
Love should be this beautiful and natural bridge that crosses over. I don't think love is about keeping tabs, equality or precision. Everything is a rose-coloured blur.
In my case, I have a shortlist of people who I truly love and for them, I would die. I'm simple like that.
On that note, I don't find it mean (just brutal honesty which the world needs more of, really.) when I ignore people I don't give a sh*t about. A lot of them are perfectly nice and go out of their way to show their affections but hey, if you're not interested then you're not interested. My inner default is- be a dud. Hey, tough love is what you need to survive in a rough-and-tumble world. So it's the underrated kind of love. If you don't care more then you certainly couldn't care less. The lot called rejection is a bag of burden which is in stout supply in this great big world of ours. The world needs more honesty, I dare say. And if you can offer more of it, then you shouldn't be afraid to. Because, in the long run, honesty pays and saves.
It's not meanness and certainly not a case of being heartless, it's just a small life filled with what counts.
