What did you do in '09 that you've never done before?

I came out of a morning show to award a gift certificate for a less fortunate couple.

Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

In 2009 I had vowed to quit my drinking & smoking.  The drinking I lessened in August. The nightouts I've had down to once in a week & I try to come home by 11pm.  And just December 20, using bib#2276 I ran my first 5K marathon and clocked in at 28 something minutes.

*2010 will be a year of personal growth and investments.  Will include but not limited to-

1] running an international marathon

2] being more  responsible for my finances!

3] be a relationship with an adult.   Love comes again :`)

Did anyone close to you give birth?

A friend of mine broadcasted the good news of a recent arrival during the Christmas week.

My mate from high school Jeremy & his wife, Charrla had twins.

Did anyone close to you die? Nope

What countries did you visit?
Guangzhou, China 

What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?

Fewer issues please. I don't do drama and I hate all the crap that comes with mind games.

What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory?



September 20th- it made me realise that good company included laughter, ease and comfortable silences.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?


I quit smoking. (Yeay!)

What was your biggest failure?
When I didn't make a point to reassure someone that he was important to me and let the relationship end.

Did you suffer illness or injury?


Minor running injuries.  I keep forgetting the RICE method.  I can be lazy. LOL!

What was the best thing you bought?


My new Ipod because it's unbelievably lightweight.  Ahhh...the wonders of technology in the music dept never fails to make me giddy :`)

Whose behaviour merited celebration?


Props to my nephews who make me laugh out loud at the most random times.
Being comfy with being the singleton who says no to casual sex. (Last one in the world-- I am I am! Har har har...)

Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?


People in general who lack human decency frickin' piss me off.

Where did most of your money go?


Insurance. Personal expenses.

What did you get really, really, really excited about?



Running! 

What song/album will always remind you of 2009?

twas the year of the  Gaga! Roma-roma-ramama! Ga ga ooh la la la... any Lady Gaga song drives me wild.

What do you wish you’d done more of?


Done more running!

Lashing out at people when I get irate.  I should learn to take deep breaths and bite my tongue cause my honesty can be a bit too much sometimes.

How will you be spending Christmas?

Always with family.

Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?


my mom who's my best friend, Mrs Robinson who is also my best friend and Magne, another best friends whose random calls are always a good surprise!

Did you fall in love in 2009?

I probably did initially but it lost its lustre soon enough.  I think I was more in love with the idea of being someone than concentrating on someone.  Lustre soon became lacklustre.  We really didn't have all that much in common.

How many one night stands in this last year?


Ha, how I wish there was a numeral for that.  Even 1 would have been cooler with the real answer.
So yeah ...zero.

What was your favourite TV programme?

Love The Ellen Show.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?


Hate is a strong word.  My hate list has ceased to exist.

What was the best book you read?

Murakami & Coelho... sometimes in the deep recesses of my inordinately busy life, I find time for poetry. 

What was your greatest musical discovery?


Chairlift 

What did you want and got?


A job filled with challenges and lots of sleepless nights.

An annulment

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?


I celebrated with my gals in my watering hole. I turned 33. I don't recall being that wasted in a while...and I don't plan on being that wasted any more. Except tonight.

What one thing would have made '09 immeasurably more satisfying?


Hehehe. Someone lovable who is poppysmic-able and available.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in '09?


Eclectic :)

What kept you sane?


My fitness regimen, my folks and the constant crazy/beautiful mix of good friends.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?


Robin Thicke.  Seriously SEXUAL man on cam.

What political issue stirred you the most?


The passing of Cory Aquino & the Maguindanao Massacre threw me off.

Londoners Kay, Lucy, Cindy, Nicole Bunny
